At Keystone Energy Tools, we make top-of-the-line safety products, because we take worksite safety as seriously as your business does. Our wide variety of safety products are subject to the same high standards America’s biggest companies expect and rely on when they use Keystone products like our bottleneck elevators.
Here are six products available from Keystone that will help you create an efficient workspace that promotes safety for everyone. Let us know what product or parts you need, and we’ll be in touch to find out how we can help your business.
1. Safety Clamps
Our Type “C,” “T,” and “MP” safety clamps are a great way to protect against dropping strings of flush joint tubing or to provide a shoulder to position strings of flush line pipe for welding, among many other applications. Their unique design consists of individual links, flexibly hinged together with many tapered slips that each exercise their own gripping pressure, like a tapered rotary slip. If a pipe should begin to fall or the load it is bearing increase, the tapered edge begins to wedge more tightly against the pipe, preventing further movement.
2. Safety Make-Up Stand
Our safety make-up stands create support for safe make-up or breakout of subs, stabilizers or other bottom hole assembly components, keeping those parts in a stabilized, upright position any time they need to be turned.
3. Slip Lifting Device
The slip lifting device is created to reduce fatigue and prevent injuries while tripping in or out of the hole. It’s available in both pneumatic and hydraulic configurations for pin-drive or square-drive master bushings, and can be used with a conventional rotary, drill collar or casing slip.
4. Slip Safety Flex Handles
Available in models for both standard service and extreme service, the slip safety flex handles feature investment cast slip connectors and handles with thumb guards. They’re joined together with high strength chain and phosphate coating to fight against corrosion, which can be particularly useful in splash zone areas. Using these can help prevent cuts from frayed cables, prevent back injuries, and help create a more ergonomically considered environment for workers.
5. Tong Die Driver
These tong die drivers are used to reduce potential injuries to hands while removing tong dies, and come in three varieties. To find out the one that would be best for your project, visit our website or give us a call, and tell us exactly what you’re looking for.
6. Tong Safety Handles
These handles are designed for use on ST-80, Mud Buckets and other rig equipment when hand protection is required. They’re not only a great safety product, but their universal design will fit most tong models without any welding.
Keystone’s safety hardware is a great compliment to our well-respected products like drill pipe float valves or stabbing guides.
We take our safety products seriously, knowing that industry leaders rely on these products to help alleviate risks for both workers and businesses. Every one of these products is subject to the same quality guarantee we put on our keystone valves and every other product we make. Our employees are committed to providing the highest quality parts that exceed industry standards. It’s something we’re proud of and that commitment runs through the entire family of Keystone Energy Tools.
